Part Time Ground & General Maintenance Person

 

Assistant Ground & General Maintenance person required to assist in the maintenance of a nine hole golf course in the Weston area.  In this role you will be required to work with the Green Keeping team in the daily maintenance and upkeep of the golf course.

Fairway/greens and ground maintenance experience required.  You must be familiar with associated mechanical equipment and have the necessary safety certificates.

This role demands a high level of commitment and a flexible approach to working.  Applicants must be physically fit and able for manual work.

In the first instance you will be working 3 days per week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.   We have a summer and winter roster –

Summer Hours

6.30 am – 3.30 pm

Winter Hours

7.30 am – 2.30 pm

Pay rate -  National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage for relevant age group.

Part Time Shop Assistant for the Bleadon Hill Golf Pro Shop

 

We are also looking for someone to work part time in the Golf Pro Shop.  Prior experience in a similar capacity or equivalent work experience essential.   You should possess excellent customer facing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.    An appreciation for and basic knowledge of the sport of golf  desirable; golfer or golf enthusiast with knowledge of the sport preferred.

In the first instance you will be working Saturdays from 7.30 am until the shop closes (4.30 pm through to 7.30 pm depending on the time of year.  You will be  entitled to a 30 minute unpaid lunch break if working over 6 hours.)    You will also need to work every other Wednesday from 8.00 am until the shop closes.  Other hours may be available, particularly in the summer months.  

Pay rate – National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage for relevant age group.
